Hello Year 1 - 24.4.20
Since my last message on 12.4.20, it has been lovely to see so many of your pictures and videos since the new addition of home learning began after the Easter 'holidays'. I don't know about you, but we are missing you all so much and the pictures and videos help it feel just that little bit more normal again. Please continue to send them through to us. It doesn't have to just be work, I've enjoyed the updates about first bike rides, riding your bike without stabilisers, first teeth lost and so much more. I'm also really proud to say that so many of you are thinking about others too, whether that be phoning grandparents and relatives, dropping cards and pictures off to elderly care homes or just generally thinking about people in your local area. What a wonderful group of children you are.
Keep going with your learning - YouTube videos, stories, Studyladder and home learning. I know it's a little odd but keep doing your best. Your loved ones are working really hard to make the additional tasks fun and engaging so make sure you're being patient with them. It's lovely for them to have you around so much, but also a little weird for them too so bare with them. I hope you enjoy all of the new activities being sent out over the weekend for the next two weeks in the home learning pack and set on Studyladder.
We look forward to seeing further updates soon
Be good and stay safe Year 1.
Best wishes,
Mr Ford and Mrs Kirkland
Year 1 do not need to complete this writing task, but I know that some children have been interested in completing these.
