There are times when taking our children to sports events just makes me smile and feel proud of them. On Friday 11th March was the third race in the Plymstock Roadrunners cross country. Our team was decimated by absences which left a good Y5 girls team, one Y5 boy and one Y6 girl. Despite this, the Y5 boy ran solo and came a very impressive third. Our Y6 girl was going to run solo but our lovely Y5 girls team asked if they could run with her to support her, which they did. Our Y6 girl ran her best race and managed to claim her first medal for cross country. The look of excitement on her face as she looked at her number card was priceless! Well done to all those that ran. Many thanks Mr Craig
