Profile:

I am pleased to have joined the governing body and to have the opportunity to contribute as Curriculum Champion, as I wanted to contribute my experience to support the school and help ensure the best outcomes for all pupils. I have 20 years’ experience working in science education, experiencing the front line of education first hand.

This experience has given me a strong understanding of how structured planning, collaboration and careful oversight contribute to positive outcomes for learners. I am particularly interested in the development and progression of students as well as ensuring that all pupils are supported to achieve their potential.

As Curriculum Champion, I look forward to supporting the leadership team by offering a balanced perspective, asking constructive questions, and contributing positively to the ongoing development of the school informed by a lifetime of aiming for the highest standards of conduct.

Presently I pursue a variety of interests, including education, self-improvement and business which keep me engaged, learning and active, alongside my two lovely dogs, grown children, and a wonderful grandchild.
