Profile:
I am married with four grown up children and two grandchildren. I have been teaching for well over 30 years and after taking early retirement a couple of years ago I now work as a supply teacher in schools across Plymouth. With the nurture and education of children still being a passion of mine, and with extra time and energy, being a school governor seemed an obvious choice. I have always lived in the Plymstock area and attended Hooe Primary School in the 1960s so it is interesting and seems very fitting to be here.
My leisure activities include learning to dance and singing in a choir. I also love spending time with family and friends.
I have been a governor for a few years now and thoroughly enjoy the role, especially as the team are so committed to providing the very best for the Hooe community.
