I am delighted to be serving as a Governor at Hooe Primary Academy.

My background is in education, having previously worked as a primary school teacher in Plymouth. I have since moved into the corporate sector, where I work in roles with a strong focus on strategy, governance and organisational improvement. This experience allows me to bring a balanced perspective to governance, combining an understanding of education with robust strategic and oversight skills.

I live locally in Sherford and saw the role of governor as a valuable opportunity to contribute to the wider community. I am committed to supporting the school to the best of my ability, working collaboratively with fellow governors, school leaders and staff to ensure positive outcomes for pupils.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing golf, spending time with my four children, and walking our dog.
